new addition
Hello everyone! 2009 has brought the De La Portilla's a new addition to the family. Elena Marie De La Portilla was born Feb 25th at 11:56 Am, she was 6 Lb 10 ounces and 19.5 inches long. she is 5 weeks early but baby and mom are doing great. and Estevan loves being a big brother!

what is going on with us.
Well we are pretty much done with unpacking the boxes and have moved on to decorating the house. All though I am having a hard time picking paint color for the different rooms. Jose says I have a lot of time to figure that out. Estevan loves his new house. he loves running outside to the backyard and in. Marcus loves the backyard too, but he prefers to sleep on the floor next to were ever mom is sitting. Estevan always tells Jose and I lets go home to our new house, it's to cute.
Estevan is all settled in and toys are everywhere. We haven't meet to many friends yet but I did catch me holding a girls hand in sunbeans during open excesses in primary. I haven't figured out who she is yet. We did find a few fun things to do that Estevan enjoys. We go to a bounce house place once a week and he loves the big inflatable slide. He goes down head first, stomach, rolling down, sideways, and any other daring thing he can do. We also found a children's garden that we are looking forward to going to. Stev is so excited that the pool is open and wants to go swim. He loves playing and sitting in his water table and loves to run through the sprinklers.
Daddy is enjoying work and is getting ready to start a new class for school. His boss quit on Monday so work has been crazy for him. We are waiting to see i the offer Jose his bosses position. Jose is enjoying scouts and loves being the Varsity Couch for the older boys. He loves teaching them life skills. So far he has taught them to play drums and is show them how to maintain your air conditioner. Anyone else want to come and learn. He is a great daddy and husband.
